About
Craig J. Webb graduated from the University of Bath in 2007 with a BSc in Computer Science. After two years in industry, he studied for the MSc in Acoustics and Music Technology at Edinburgh, graduating with distinction in 2010. He then continued on to study for a PhD, supervised by Dr. Stefan Bilbao and Dr. Alan Gray (EPCC). As a member of the NESS project, his research concerned the GPU acceleration of three-dimensional FDTD schemes for virtual acoustics and embedded physical models.
Craig now runs Physical Audio Ltd, producing high quality, real-time audio plugins based on the physical modelling research carried out by the AAG.
